November 11

November 11: Contractor, international man of mystery, and Naked Time devotee. There is much to know about November 11, and yet to know him is to realize you never truly do. Or...something.

November 11 (alias Jack Simon) is the top field agent working at Britain's MI6. Previously, MI6 was best known as "that place James Bond works", or as wikipedia tells us, "the United Kingdom's external intelligence agency". Which begs the question: did N11 and 007 ever meet? And if so, did N11 whoop his rear in battle, or did he merely drink his "shaken, not stirred" lightweight self under the table?

Not played by Sean Connery.

N11's contractor powers are of the water sort, specifically that fascinating scientific process of freezing liquids into ice. Give him any sort of liquid – even blood still in your body (ew) – and he can use it as a weapon. I assume this also makes him a great bartender.

Unfortunately, great powers often come at a cost. In this case, November 11's remuneration is to smoke like a member of the Rat Pack. Ironically, N11 knows you can be cool without lighting up and hates smoking. When not using his powers , fulfilling his contract, and threatening to shoot the CIA from Japanese airspace, he can be found preaching about the dangers of second-hand smoke.

November 11 and his team (consisting of the fashionable April and the displaced-from-1904 July) are initially sent to Japan to retrieve the Regressor Havoc, a former Contractor whose hobbies include drinking the blood of children, killing thousands of people, and wandering around in a blanket. Unfortunately, BK201 beats them to the punch, leaving the little team to be reassigned -- to investigating BK201. Convenient to the plot, yes?
