The Main PartyLarsa ends up fairly beloved by the game's main party. In the beginning, they seem a bit distrustful of him (obviously). During their first meeting he does lie to them about his name, though he apologizes later – and hey, it was for a good reason!Larsa proves a true ally aboard the Leviathan, where the group is being held captive. He releases each of them, even the rebellious Princess Ashe, and instructs them to reveal the lies and misdeeds woven by the Empire. It's important to note that despite being enamored with his brother and country, he has already come to realize that not all is right in Archadia - primarily due to the discovery that Ashe and Basch are still alive and fighting. Later, Larsa convinces Ashe to join him in meeting High Elder Anastasis at Bur-Omisace. It is at this time that Ashe decides Larsa is "innocent"; Vaan, meanwhile, openly states that he likes him. In fact, later, when Balthier coarsely tells Larsa that his own father is a stranger to him, Vaan kindly tells Larsa to ignore Balthier’s crabbiness. Further yet, Vaan remarks that Larsa is "strong for his age", and is undoubtedly okay, even though he was taken by his own Imperial Forces to Vayne. Sadly, his respect for Larsa doesn't stretch to being able to impersonate him well, but that's an anecdote for a Vaan shrine. ;) Larsa appears to be closest to Penelo, the young dancer in the party who accompanies him to Marquis Ondore's estate. He vows to protect her, and after an initial reluctance, she decides he’s definitely trustworthy. She is seen running to soothe him after he exhausts himself fighting Vayne (or, perhaps, is dealing with the gravity of his actions), and they have a very special connection in the FINALE. Check out more about them there. x | return |
